With many thanks to Stephanie, following our documenting of her and George’s elopement — and Shannon –Ashley reached out to me to inquire about covering her wedding. She came to me because she was having trouble getting other wedding photographers to buy in on what she was looking for. Her and her (now) husband weren’t looking for full day coverage, but some dialed-back coverage of the ceremony and some portraits. I’m very happy that we expanded the coverage a little because I was able to capture the cake cutting, first dance, father/daughter dance, and some conversations between the couple and their guests. It was a beautiful wedding held at the Barker Tavern in Scituate. Immediately following, we all hopped in cars and went over the Old Scituate Lighthouse where we did the family and wedding party portraits, then back again to the Tavern for the reception. It was a great experience working with Ashley + Ryan and I wish them all the best in their new life together. Enjoy!
